Little video from the Grafik Warfare show I was a part of over the weekend, Thanks to everybody who came, big up Snub the mastermind behind it all, was good catching up with some old faces, as well as meeting a few new ones, great opening night!!

Lower case nearly done! Posted by: Robert Wilson
Well after wrestling with them for the best part of seven hours the lower case are pretty much done. A few things I’m still not happy about like some of the spacing, the r, and the t, but all in all pretty pleased. Got lots of ligatures wrapped up and a few swashes too. now all i gotta figure out is how this is all going to work in fontlab (something I’m not particularly looking forward too). Tomorrow for CAPS!

For my concept focus I’m exploring the idea of mapping time through colour. Below are some experiments I created by taking different slices of a photo and stretching them out. I wanted to retain the colours of each photo but take away the narrative so the colour becomes the only descriptive element. I got this idea from a piece of work I saw from design studio Tomato.
